LOCATION

A few kilometres from the most beautiful natural beach of the island, in the middle of the central Mallorcan plain “Es Pla”, stands the small village of Porreres.

The gentle hills with their surrounding woods, almond and apricot trees, together with the flocks of sheep in the lush green grass, make up a peaceful landscape that is one of the most bucolic on the island.

Away from the main traffic arteries of the island, Porreres has managed to retain its rural tranquillity. The east coast, such as Porto Colom and the capital Palma de Mallorca, as well as the airport, can be reached in just 20 minutes.

Porreres, whose roots go back to the year 1300, is a traditional municipality of about 5.000 inhabitants, in which agriculture still plays an important role. Porreres boasts the fourth largest wine-growing area on the island.
